RSI offers technology hosting, monitoring, management, helpdesk, disaster prevention and recovery, as well as 360° cybersecurity programs, Incident response, Security Operations (SOC) and cybersecurity consulting.

We are looking for a Systems/ Network Administrator to work with RSI clients onsite in our Southington, CT location.

Must be reliable, punctual and have a clean driving record. Highly motivated team player with great interpersonal skills to fit into a great office environment.
Salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
-Designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting network and server architecture
-Monitoring and diagnosing network and server’s performance issues
-Writing and updating both system and network documentation and network diagrams
-Collaborates on implementing network and server security measures
-Possess a deep understanding of client systems and workflows that enables them to debug those systems effectively
-Perform regular network and server performance and maintenance tasks

Technical Requirements:
-Ability to handle and resolve escalated network and server support issues independently and with minimal supervision
-Ability to focus and solve problems in stressful situations
-Ability to explain technical concepts to inexperienced users
-Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures
-Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
-Protects operations by keeping information confidential

Interpersonal Requirements:
-Impeccable communication and writing skills.
-Courteously answer phones and provide IT support to clients.
-Must have a good presentation, be efficient, fast on problem-solving, creative and enjoy working with people.
-Must have a valid driver’s license.
-Willingness to travel
-Highly motivated team player with great interpersonal skills to fit into a great office environment.
