The Central Business Alliance promotes and facilitates economic viability and enhancement for the businesses located in the two gateways of the town- the downtown areas of Southington and Plantsville. Also critical is the cultivation and maintenance of effective lines of communication between the business sector and the municipal town government. The committee meets the first Friday of each month at various locations. Check www.southingtonchamber.com for meeting details.

Be a liaison between state government and the Chamber membership to initiate and explain regulations and new laws. This committee organizes programs with speakers on key issues for members.
Marketing Committee members create and maintain progressive marketing avenues to promote the Chamber and its members which include our website, newsletter, fliers, emails, and social media sources. The committee also serves as a valuable resource for members looking for marketing ideas. The Marketing Committee meets the second Tuesday of the month at 8:30am at the Chamber office.
The Annual Dinner Meeting honors outstanding businesses and volunteers who have made a difference in the Southington business community. The April event also recognizes outgoing/incoming Board of Director members.

The Chamber’s Golf Tournament is held every year on the Wednesday prior to the town’s Apple Harvest Festival. A terrific opportunity for business representatives to network, advertise their business, and support the Chamber and community. A portion of the proceeds funds scholarships for graduating students of Southington High School.

Be part of setting the foundation for this new committee focused on promoting workplace wellness and cost saving measures on insurance and wellness programs.

The Health & Wellness Committee champions workplace wellness and health – related resources within the business community through various educational programs, communication and initiatives.
