Patel\nDeputy Commissioner\, Economic Development\nChief Manufacturing Officer\, State of CT \nKirti was named Deputy Commissioner in March 2026. He has also served as the State’s Chief Manufacturing Officer since September 2025. Kirti Patel is a seasoned business leader with 25+ years of global experience in technology development and advanced manufacturing across the life sciences\, medical imaging & devices\, and semiconductor industries. He previously served as President   CEO of Eppendorf Manufacturing Corporation (Enfield\, CT) and as General Manager/VP of Siemens Preclinical Molecular Imaging (Knoxville\, TN). He also co-founded Sensant Corporation\, a medical device company\, later acquired by Siemens Healthcare (San Francisco\, CA). Kirti began his career at Intel (San Jose\, CA)\, working in high-tech microprocessor lithography process development & manufacturing. Kirti holds an MBA from the Wharton School\, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University\, an MS in Chemical Engineering from University of California-Davis\, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Mangalore University (India). \nKelli-Marie Vallieres\, PhD\nVice Chair of the Governor’s Workforce Council\nChief Workforce Officer of the Office of Workforce Strategy \nThe Office of Workforce Strategy leads the implementation of the first State of CT Strategic Workforce Development Plan. The business led plan requires the coordination\, collaboration\, and cooperation of multiple stakeholders\, including workforce development boards\, state agencies\, education\, and economic and community-based organizations to build the systems\, teams\, and approaches that will make Connecticut a talent environment that attracts and motivates students\, career builders\, and companies alike. \nDr. Vallieres earned her degree in Educational Leadership and Adult Learning from the University of Connecticut in 2007. She is an owner of two manufacturing companies\, where she served as President and CEO for 14 years before stepping down to take on her new role with the State of Connecticut. Kelli combines her roles in industry and education to carry out the mission of Governor’s Workforce Council Strategic Plan.

DESCRIPTION:PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION CAREFULLY! \nThe Southington Regional Chamber of Commerce extends the opportunity for Member businesses to increase visibility and meet face to face with residents of the community at the Chamber’s booth at the weekly Farmers Market (June 26-September 25/3-6 p.m.) held on the Southington Town Green. \nThere is no fee for participation. \nSpace is limited on a first-come first-secured basis. \nSpace may be reserved by securing one of the weekly tickets below. Please include the Contact information for the person that will be working the booth for your company. \nPlease only sign up for one week.\nIf you need assistance call the Chamber office at 860.628.8036. \nParticipants must pick up the table and Chamber logo cloth at the Chamber on Thursday the day prior to the event\, or make arrangements for the table to be left outside the Chamber door for Friday. All items must be returned to the Chamber the same day as the event. \nPlease take pictures of your staff at the table with your company logo and the Chamber logo visible. \nBusiness will be give copies of the 2026 Southington Business Directory to distribute to the public. \nBusinesses may use the space to share literature and materials\, conduct assessments and evaluations\, collect data and or business cards\, handout novelties\, offer a chance at a door prize\, BUT MAY NOT SELL ANYTHING AT THE BOOTH. \nBooths must be set up by 2:30 and staffed from 3-6 p.m. \nThis is an EXCLUSIVE CHAMBER MEMBER BUSINESS BENEFIT.\nPlease do not reserve a space if you are not a Chamber member.
