Schedule: 32.5 Hrs / week – Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

Gemco Manufacturing Company, a well-established, family-owned manufacturer with over 80 years of industry excellence, is seeking a dedicated Accounting / HR Specialist to join our team. This position is open due to the retirement of a long-standing employee and offers an excellent opportunity for a professional seeking a position that allows for flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Functions: Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), daily invoicing, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and LLC filings.
- Human Resources Support: Assist with onboarding new hires and annual employee benefits renewal coordination.
- Administrative Duties: Order office supplies, coordinate employee meetings, and perform other minor office tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the manufacturing industry (preferred due to industry-specific accounting and HR nuances).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payroll processing.
- Familiarity with HR processes, including onboarding and benefits administration.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
